Artist’s background:
Addy is from the community of Rankin Inlet. She loved going out on the land and playing hockey at the local arena when she was growing up. Addy’s mother taught her the basics of sewing and then Addy participated in a community sewing program. She is a talented young seamstress now. Addy finds it calming when she is sewing. She has created her Facebook Page to sell her parkas which have become very popular. Addy loves to work with commander and leather to make her parkas.
