  • 20 m² ventilated bench room with HEPA dust extraction
  • Wet & dry grinding wheels, angle-grinders, Foredom rotary tools
  • Soft-stone starter blocks available (up to 20 lb)
  • Hand-tool wall: rasps, chisels, rifflers, mallets
  • Lock-up cubbies for in-progress pieces

Safety & Orientation

Learn Dust, Mask, & Tool Safety First

First-time carvers complete a 90-minute orientation covering PPE, dust-control protocols, and respectful use of stone sourced from Inuit Nunangat. Quarterly refreshers keep everyone current and community-safe.

Open Studio & Mentorship

Guidance from Master Carvers

  • Open Studio: Wed–Fri 1 PM–6 PM (book 2-hr blocks)

  • Finishing & Polishing: step-by-step demos each month
